Review
I really wanted to like this, since I am discovering more or less recently how great the addition of seabura / pork back fat can be for ramen. However this bowl suffers from the same problem as the Maruchan Majimori Seabura Tonkotsu cup. The seabura is nice and noticeable until you start stirring, then it just disappears and I feel it just dissolves into the soup. It probably enriches the soup a bit, but not in a way that would make me go “I am glad that there is seabura in this”. On the other hand, the soy sauce flavor of the soup is quite nice and enjoyable to slurp from the cup. The noodles are already quite soft after the recommended 3 minutes, I wasn’t a big fan. They could definitely use a bit more bite. The small pieces of meat are a bit “whatever”, didn’t add much but also did not really make a negative impression.
Overall, an average bowl of cup noodles. If you like soy sauce flavor based ones with a bit more mild flavor, then this isn’t too bad. For all others, there are probably better cup noodles out there.
